MBM delivered a high level of cost certainty throughout various stages of the complex project through our team’s extensive corrections sector project experience.
The Jindabyne police play a pivotal role in the search and rescue of missing snowboarders, in addition to protecting the regional population. With increases to tourism and the growth of the Jindabyne region, the Jindabyne Police required a higher demand of efficiency and functionality.
Since its construction in 1883, the Jindabyne Police Station has received limited restoration and improvements. The Station’s redevelopment and accommodation into a modern facility now enables the police assets to match demand, focus on accessibility, visibility, and the mobility of policing.
MBM provided full cost management services for the project including feasibility estimates, cost planning, tender assessment and negotiation, variation assessments, and final account negotiation. While the regional location of the facility had an impact on costs, MBM’s project experience in rural NSW and this region in particular helped inform accurate cost estimates. Additionally, MBM relied on our knowledge of government construction contracts to administer post contract issues and help resolve disputes.
